Background Check Authorization

In keeping with the patterns set forth in the Bible (Thessalonians 5:12, Acts 20:28, 1 Peter 5:2), for the safety of our children, and the well-being of our congregation, we perform yearly background checks on all persons wishing to serve in any area of Volunteer Ministry at The King's Church. These results will be kept strictly confidential and will be used only for the purpose of determining the applicant’s suitability for serving at The King's Church.

Following your completion of this Volunteer Application, you will receive an email from us that will contain instructions for you to get a background check. Once you submit your information and a background check is run, the results are shared with the appropriate ministry leader.

We understand that prior to your life in Christ, you may have been involved in activities that you are not proud of. Remember that Christians have been made new creations in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit; the old is gone and the new has come (1 Corinthians 5:17). While this form is an important part of our administrative process, we want you to know that this information will be kept in strict confidence.
